I have a good 1/2 inch set of impact sockets and a good impact gun.This 1/2 ratchet was a good way to get more milage out of my existing impact sockets, especially the smaller sockets.A few things about this ratchet.- at 90lbs of torque its about as strong as you can get for something in this size- its long so you can reach pretty deep- the head is plastic covered so if you're a restorer this ratchet won't bang abrasively into anything- this ratchet is pretty quite as air tools goAs a con- the head of this ratchet is not small and is pretty typical for a 1/2 ratchet. But this makes me sometimes wish I had a 3/8 impact socket set and a 3/8 ratchet.
